DAAD Partners with CUET Career Club for Educational Session at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology

In a significant collaboration, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the world’s largest organization supporting student and researcher exchanges, participated in an educational session at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET). The event was organized by CUET Career Club, which boasts a prestigious Higher Study Wing. This partnership underscores the commitment of both organizations to facilitate educational opportunities and foster international connections.

CUET Career Club, with its five designated wings, plays a pivotal role in engaging and informing enthusiastic students at CUET. Responding to the students’ demand for insights into studying in Germany, DAAD was invited to participate in this exceptional event.

The inauguration of this eagerly awaited event at CUET was graced by Professor Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim, the Director of Directorate of Students’ Welfare at CUET. The event featured distinguished moderators, including Associate Professor Dr. Mehdi Hasan Chowdhury, who delivered insightful speeches to the attendees and guests.

The event was seamlessly hosted by a standout student from the Electrical & Electronic Engineering department, who invited esteemed guests to conduct their sessions. The presence of CUET Career Club’s President, Joint General Secretary, Public Relations Secretary, Editor, Assistant Editor, and other Executive Members underscored the significance of the occasion.

The informative session commenced with Mahmudul Hasan Sumon, Regional Officer from DAAD, elucidating the intricacies of scholarships and the application process. Team Foth followed, shedding light on German language education. Lastly, Mahima Haque shared her personal experience of learning the German language, providing valuable insights.

The event concluded with an engaging quiz, with deserving winners receiving recognition. President Biswaroop Goswami delivered the closing remarks, capping off a productive and enlightening event that strengthened the educational ties between CUET and DAAD, furthering opportunities for Bangladeshi students seeking education in Germany.
