CUET Career Fest 2025: Empowering Futures, Building Connections
Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) recently hosted its highly anticipated Career Fest 2025, organized by the CUET Career Club, marking one of the most impactful career-oriented events for engineering students in Bangladesh. The two-day festival, held on August 8–9, 2025, created a platform that blended career guidance, networking, and real-world opportunities for students.
Day 1: Evening of Career Enlightenment
The festival began on August 8 with an inspiring session titled “Evening of Career Enlightenment”. Distinguished speakers shared valuable insights on career planning, skill development, and future opportunities. The opening ceremony set a professional yet motivating tone for the rest of the event, creating excitement among attendees.
Day 2: Job Fair, Competitions & Seminars
The second day, August 9, was packed with diverse activities designed to prepare students for the challenges of the job market and higher studies.

Job Fair at Swadhinata Chattar
The centerpiece of the event was the Job Fair, where 11 prominent companies set up recruitment booths at Swadhinata Chattar. Students had the opportunity to submit CVs, engage with recruiters, and learn about corporate expectations. This initiative aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, giving CUET students a competitive edge.
Career Kothon & Closing Ceremony
The event concluded with “Career Kothon”, an interactive session where industry professionals shared personal success stories and career advice. Their insights offered students a roadmap for navigating the complex job market and pursuing higher goals. The closing ceremony also featured a prize distribution for competition winners and heartfelt appreciation for organizers.

According to Md Ali Hasan Tuhin, President of CUET Career Club, the festival was designed to equip students with practical knowledge and confidence for career advancement.
